TROGIR's world famous old town core is recognized by UNESCO world heritage in 1997. The heart of Trogir is small islet laying between the gentle hills on the mainland and the coast of the Island of Ciovo. Small town of 12000 citizens is the center of micro - region which covers 250km2. Trogir is a real treasury of art, or a 'Town-Museum' as the famous Berenson put it. Ancient Kairos, Roman fragments and inscriptions, and rustic Early Croatian art will compete for our attention. Variety of fine restaurants, bars, cocktail lounges and cafe's are located on the islet. Several shopping centers are also located very near to the center.

Trogir is situated in Dalmatia occupies its own small island, just a short drive west of Split. An old walled town with narrow alleys and a pedestrian centre. The outer island of Ciovo is linked by drawbridge with a small stone bridge to the mainland. The harbour and marina face a waterside promenade beneath floodlit ramparts. In season, cultural heritage and historical monuments are big attractions yet the evenings are more relaxed affairs.

St. Lawrence cathedral bell-tower:
